What's Up? Wednesday?

Big day yesterday - I was offered the job I interviewed for!  So, now I'll need to finalyze that plan and help transition out of my current job.  Good news: big promotion.  Bad news: leaving my good co-worker group that I have really enjoyed.   But it's all good anyway and they are happy for me.

Wow Mary! Way to go. Would  you have even thought about applying for this job 100 lbs heavier? I know my self confidence has come back big time. I'm happy you're leaving the old job with good feelings. Those good co-workers will remain that way.

Hi Cheryl and Friends, This little part time job is kicking me in the behind. It's hard to say no. I started out just wanting to work two days a week. I worked with a blind 18 yr old senior last week. Her one on one aide is having some serious health issues and will be out til towards the end of next week. Didn't want the girl to have different people each day so. . . I'm working every day, 7 hrs a day through next Wednesday. Then we're leaving town on Thursday for about 12 days. So it's not like I won't get a break soon enough. Makes it kind of hard to get to the gym. I went today at 4pm and it was so crowded. Right now we have a little bitty gym while the new one is being completed. Only one restroom to change in but I went, did my 4 miles and survived. Came home and made an omelet for dinner. I got up about 5am so I think it will be early to bed for me. Cheryl, it's so good to see you!

What a good girl you are Karen.....I haven't been to work out all week...dealing with my kitchen, but my counters are all in and they look even better than I thought they would [that is a tiny swatch to choose from  and I have lots of counter top] My sink is back in and in the morning when I have lots of energy, I will put things all back....I hate to work in the evening....A friend stopped over and we drank wine instead and talked....right in the midst of all my chaos....

One note about my self hair trimming or creation of my bangs.....Couldn't go to my hairdresser because they came early with the countertops and after my shower I was hurrying before they came and was stopped a couple of times when I went by a mirror...and thought maybe I like them.  today at the office, everyone LOVED my bangs...said it was sooo much better.....told me it took 10 years off of me...always good....and they loved my color!!!....I said "well it is the same color as yesterday....but thanks".....so I guess it turned into a good thing....Maybe I will have someone take a pic and I will change my avatar....
